Ronald Bilius Weasley (born March 1, 1980) was a pure-blood wizard, and the second youngest son of Molly and Arthur Weasley, and a loyal member of the Order of the Phoenix. He fought in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, the Battle of the Seven Potters, and the Battle of Hogwarts. He served an important role in each of those battles, and killed some Death Eaters. He participated in the Hunt for Horcruxes, and destroyed Slytherin's Locket. He later married Hermione Granger, and lived a happy life.
In Ron's first year (1991-1992), he met Harry Potter at King's Cross Station, and his mom, Molly Weasley, instructed Harry on how to get to Platform 9. They met on the Hogwarts Express and enjoyed a bunch of wizarding candy together. They also met Hermione Granger on the train; she was a nerd. When they arrived at Hogwarts, Ron, Harry, and Hermione, or the "Golden Trio," were each sorted into Gryffindor. Professor McGonagall and Percy Weasley led them to their dormitories where they slept for the night. Ron did not seem surprised by anything that happened at Hogwarts because he has five siblings who had already been to Hogwarts. The Trio later discovered an artifact titled The Sorcerer's Stone, which could produce elixir that could keep someone alive for years to come. The three of them learned Snape was attempting to steal it, and they sought out to retrieve it.
In summer of 1992, Ron learned that Vernon Dursley put bars on the outside of Harry's window. So Ron, Fred, and George Weasley flew to 4 Privet Drive with Arthur Weasley's blue Ford Anglia to rescue Harry. They successfully broke Harry out and took him to The Burrow, where he and the rest of the Weasley's stayed. When they traveled to Diagon Alley, they met Hermione and went to Flourish and Blott's to purchase books for the year. It turned out that Gilderoy Lockhart, of whom Molly was a big fan, was also inside. Lockhart explained that he would be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, which was not much to Ron's advantage; he didn't like him very much.
Ron's third year (1993-1994) started very darkly. A prisoner, [Sirius Black], was on the loose and he was known to have killed three Muggles and Peter Pettigrew.
